Consulting Slam Producer: Radikal Words

Radikal Words is a Community Interest Company set up in January 2010 by writers and poets Alfie Crowe, Kate Fox and Jeff Price. The company seeks to provide excellence in live literature and spoken word projects in community and education settings. The company provides writers, poets and spoken word artists for a broad base of education establishments and community organisations. Its objective is to help develop engagement and raise standards in literacy in the North East of England through innovative spoken word and live literature projects that seek to benefit both the community and the writers.  The Directors have between them a wealth of experience in the delivery and planning of large and small-scale projects. They have worked with a wide variety of students and people across the age span, from Primary Schools to senior citizens.


Venue Partner: ARC

ARC is an organisation working from its venue to enhance the wellbeing of the whole community of Stockton and the Tees Valley, through arts-based education and entertainment, through creating opportunities to experience and participate in the arts, and through partnership with other organisations. ARC’s live performance programme includes music; comedy; drama; contemporary dance; spoken word; light entertainment and family shows. ARC delivers arts projects in conjunction with many different community and support groups in Stockton and across the Tees Valley. This includes working in fields such as education, mental health, housing, refugee and asylum seekers support and drug/alcohol rehabilitation.
